Welcome internet adventurers,
Here you will find little thoughts by me posted here. They may not be the most exciting but I hope you enjoy them all the same. One thing I love is being alone in the wilderness, whether that be a lush green forest, a windswept beach or even an evening stroll across by a wheat field. Finding dark places where little creatures live and grow always excites and fills me with wonder, so, that is why I named this blog, “Where the Wild Gorse Grows” so you may stumble across this site and discover what a creature of habit I am.
Gorse is one of my favourite flowers. I’m sure its gorgeous yellow petals shine as bright as the setting sun. And the fragrance is so all consuming and sweet. Prickly it may be but us little critters don’t mind…
But, child of dust, the fragrant flowers,
The bright blue sky and velvet sod
Were strange conductors to the bowers
Thy daring footsteps must have trod.
